We have two villas at The White House of Costa Rica property. Although they are close in proximity to each other and the main house, staying in a villa still seems very private thanks to the beautiful landscaping encasing each villa. If renting out the entire property, this is nice for the villa guests as they are in close walking distance to the main house which is typically used for the communal gatherings and yet they retain a feeling of privacy which was extremely important to us since the main house can be rented out separately from the villas.

 

The villas are two-story, two-bedroom, and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms are upstairs. One bedroom has two twin size beds while the other has a full-size bed. The villa closer to the main house has an ocean view from the master bedroom.

 

One of the most talked-about and enjoyed features of the villa stay is the large outdoor shower which is an amazing experience for most people to shower surrounded by trees and under sun or stars. The outdoor shower and bathroom are downstairs and both provide a space for surfboard storage off to the side of the shower area. This is a handy feature as this area has a downstairs entry apart from the main entrance to each villa.

 

Most people feel very cozy in the villas, love the beds, and the spacious feel when lounging downstairs which is provided by the partially open stairwell that provides the high-ceiling feel.
